Emeka Benjamin Uche, a factory worker abandoned his wife, 34yrs old Ruth from Abia State and their four children, two sets of twins, after he learnt that his expectant wife was carrying another set of twins.
The wife has been struggling to fend for herself and the six children after she put to bed, until the load became too heavy for her. She had to seek for help at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa.
Eventually, luck smiled on her. Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has come to her aid. He approved a welfare package for her so she can take care of herself and the children. Husband still on the run. Sad!
